Things often sound so poetic when translated to other languages!

My favorite was seeing the Cotapaxi volcano in Ecuador. In the Quichua (sic) language Cotapaxi means "Neck of the Moon."

Great picture! Last time I got up at 3:30a all I did was turn on the nation's smallest NBC affiliate at $5.72 per hour

When I got to the part about lack of proper footwear I imagined you wearing those black slingbacks with the silver swoosh on the front even though I know they're actually in the trunk of your/my car. But New Balances sound like you've come a long way in the appropriate foorwear department. I have a pair of New Balance shoes now, too. At first it was so bizarre seeing a pair of athletic shoes on my feet, but I've come to love them.

Anyway looks awesome and I'm jealous! I'll have to show Casey.

You can throw them away! I don't want to be tempted to wear them again.

I look like I'm 17. The mountain air rejuvenated me.

I think it's both fucked up and completely natural-- my friends and I said the same thing.
