this is a question probably best answered by a fellow trannay but Im open to all opinions... hormonal acne- how do you minimise the damage? Do you find it gets worse at any time like before or after your shot?
I just shaved my face all proper like and my pizza face is even worse than I thought....

shaving made mine worse, so i switched to clippers without an attachment (so it's a stubbly shave rather than clean). i used eryacne as well for a while until things calmed down.

no worries. mine also improved mildly when i switched to reandron (but my main problem areas were back/shoulders/upper arms, and that's not cleared up completely).

how often are your t shots? my skin got better when i switched from 250mg/2wks to 125mg/1wk. i also used benzoyl peroxide for a while and it helped, but i only used the 2.5% one. i only shave once a week mostly beause i hate shaving but i think that when i had face acne it helped to not shave too often.

yeah i hardly shave at all mainly out of laziness!
I think Im going to go see a doctor and see if they can adjust my dosage etc... cos Im starting to get the kind of acne that will scar up real nasty and tbh vanity is quite high on my priority list!

My acne was HORRIBLE: see my posts tagged acne. I have significant scarring just like my male relatives. My acne still is somewhat of a problem, but a 2x daily oral antibiotic has helped immensely. I also use a topical antibiotic, and wash with a non-soap antibacterial bar made for sensitive skin. I shave with a new disposable razor every time. I do not attempt to shave over a bad spot, because that seems just impossible.

This may not relate to your situation, but I also switched T types from one that is rumoured to "tear up your skin" to one that by reputation does so less. Check out your alternatives in your area.

i think so about the hair growth.

I hadn't thought about the pain in a while, so I'm kind of glad you reminded me that I'm past the worst of my troubles. Yes, it can be awful.

When it was really bad, there were times it was actually hard to get some spots to stop bleeding, like gushing literally, and I felt panicked and cried. Really really bad times.
