Long story short: You can currently buy the book, Movies in Fifteen Minutes, for about $11 (US) at amazon.co.uk. Shipping is about the same amount, leaving you at about $22 (US) for a 401-page hardback book. Amazon UK tends to ship faster than Amazon US, and I haven't heard any complaints about them. I'm in AZ and just ordered the book, so hopefully they'll be pretty quick in getting it to me.

You have no idea how tempted I am to just go buy the book from Amazon UK. But I'm so very poor so I really can't. It drives me crazy every day I tell ya. But as soon as I have some more money in the bank, THAT BOOK IS MINE.

Well, you can always go read "The Black Ribbon," but that may drive you nuts as it stops dead at after the third of five chapters while I regroup and work on the last two. It's not that I'm not going to finish it so much as I'm afraid to post the rest because I actually have a shot at getting it published for real now.

Hmm, not offhand. You may want to call a local bookstore and see--it shouldn't be held up there the way it is in North America, if it's going to be there at all. Let me know if you find anything out, and I'll post whether it's out or not.

I finally ordered the book from amazon UK. I'm moving at the end of this month, however, and I'm hoping it gets to me before then so it doesn't get lost in the abyss.

I would expect it much sooner than that; as Cleo said, Amazon UK is teh quickness when it comes to shipping. I had my copy in about five days, and I ordered on a Sunday night over there.
