So, you may remember that recently I acquired my first betta accidentally, at a dollar store while shopping for paper towels. I named him George (the fish, not the towels), and it's been fishylove ever since. your fish are beautiful, and they look healthy to me. when i had a betta, he was super shiny until the day before he died. then his scales got really dull and the next day he stopped moving. it was really sad... poor wilbur.

aw. :( it's always sad when they die, but at least he had a good human taking care of him. :)

They all look healthy & pretty. I really like that white one- I've never seen one like that before. I love that you bought many fish!

I never heated my betta's water. My longest lasting betta was almost two years old. I bought him a real plant from Petco & sometimes he would eat it.

hehe :) They actually have pure white bettas, too, with no red wash. They're stunning.

George has a little bit of a fin rot issue, but clean, warm water should fix that right up.
