I am somewhat ashamed to admit this, but I have long lived with a bit of a goose phobia. I say "a bit of" a phobia because it's not like I walk around in perpetual fear of geese, as that would be ridiculous. Why, there are no geese just hanging out in New York City, for goodness sak--

That is so awesome! I don't think I've ever seen a goose in person, just tons of ducks and a few swans and those chickens last month.

They're big! Very pretty, though, when they aren't trying to kill you. ;)

I guess I wouldn't have been afraid of them if I saw them so often.
Did they ever run after anyone or did they mind their own business?

Aw, I love this entry.

I had a girl friend that was terrified of geese. We ended up stealing a goose lawn ordainment on a dark night in September. After washing it in the bathtub, as pictured, she put a bikini on it and strapped it into the front seat of her car. I'm not sure if that helped her fear or not... but it was spectacular.

I've also been chased by geese and it was terrifying. A crazy one once stalked me in a park when I was in college. haha.

They're pretty ruthless when they're hungry/angry/bored/alive.
