The world isn't ending, silly. That's gonna be in 2012, as all the crazy new-age conspiracy hippies believe.

But it *is* a sign that I was bored.

Hopefully it won't be a screw up of apocalyptic proportions.

Ha! You're funny.

I haven't read the book, but I'm sure that they'll have to get someone like Carson Daly for the lead. Let George Lucas direct it and somehow work in Aliens. Definitely a soundtrack with a lot of stuff to appeal those young hip kids, but with some rock faves for all generations to get the parents liking it too.

Interesting theories. And if they make it into a musical BeeGees songs, I am SOLD!

"Staying Alive" is the perfect poast-apocalyptic anthem!

You're alive!

I'll be looking for this book next time I go out.

I *am* alive, much to the dismay of many! Every so often I do sneak out of my hole... only to crawl into LJ's hole! Eeew!

Yes! Read this book. It's actually a moving father/son story set in end-of-the-world.

I took this book out of the library because of someone's recommendation, but was reading something else and never got around to it. I should just buy it so I actually read it.

You should get it! It's a rather moving tale. And also it's a very good beginning for those who are interested in reading more Cormac McCarthy. His literary style isn't the easiest read. I started with one of his earlier works. And as gripping as it was, after a couple chapters, my brain felt like it had just finished helping a friend move on a hungover weekend.
