Drabble: Warm
Okay, I had this coming into my mind as I walked to my morning class in this cold fall day. This drabble does not related to any episode, so I was not sure if I could post in the LL drabbles community. So, I'm posting it here. So yeah, enjoy:
Warm
"Cold, why does it have to be so cold?" Lana thought, walking as fast as she could to her big interview. It was THE interview of a lifetime and she had to get this job. She had been living in Metropolis for one year already and she had to get this job. It was her dream job.
It was cold; she had only her tinny coat on her. She could feel her nose turning red and her ears changing color to pink. She only wished she could be lying in bed under the covers snuggling with her boyfriend.
Turning around the corner, not looking ahead, she bumped into someone. Looking up to apologize to the stranger, she smiled instead and wrapped her arms around the waist of her lover. Leaning as close as she could, she put her face into his warm sweater.
"If I would have known that I will receive such a nice welcome, I would have looked for you earlier." Lex smiled and took his hands out of his pockets and wrapped his coat around Lana’s cold body and brought her as close as possible to his warm body.
"Mmhh, Lex you feel so good. I wish I could stay like this forever," Lana dreamily answered.
Lex worriedly touched Lana’s chin and looked into her eyes. “Darling, are you getting sick? Because if you are, I will bring you home.” As much as she wanted to go home with him and cuddle under a blanket near their fireplace, she knew she had to go for her interview.
So instead, she leaned in and kissed him softly. However, he had other plans and kissed her passionately. She did not have to complain, because his warm lips empowered hers and she felt their hot sensation going through all her body.
Unfortunately, after the short, in her opinion, but amazing kiss, she had to let him go. "I will soon see you home," she promised him. Lex smiled. "I will be waiting." She let go of his embrace with sadness and continued to walk to her destination.
Lex just stood there looking at her walking away. He grinned. He knew that when she will return, she will be very happy and they will have a great night together. When, you are a Luthor, you get certain privileges and for Lana, he would do anything, as getting her, her dream job.
Lana entered the building and turned around to look through the glass at the person that stole her heart. She knew he was not perfect. She knew he probably arranged some things so she will get this job. However, he brought her warm and happiness and that is what she needed and wanted in her life.
