Trust me, I HAVE been praying. I feel so for the Cho family. In Asian cultures shame is a huge issue. My "Fillipino Grandma" as I called her was a friend I worked with last year. I loved her so much and she talked to me a lot about her family. Her daughter was constantly shaming her in front of others and she told me how much shame is an issue in her home country. I pray that strong Christians will reach out to them with the love of God.

It's still so hard to believe that this happened. 'Course I'm still in shock over the killings in that Amish school last year. There are so many disturbed people among us; it's only by God's grace that more don't act on it...

As C.S. Lewis supposedly said (in the movie, "Shadowlands"): "The world is a dangerous place." I long for paradise regained.
