Zeus is home. He came home with 4 meds (ampicillin, motor lopromine, prep, furomillo) and special food. His clinical impressions are: Pancreatitis, Hyporcalcium (sp?), compromison, kidney function He has to go back in a week for more blood work to check his lipase & calcium. He's not to have access to unlimited water. The elevated calcium level can progress to heart rhythm problems, he needs to be monitored closely.
The vet wasn't in the office today so I couldn't ask my questions. So Mom will ask them for me tomorrow.
Zeus has currently sequestered himself in the crate he's claimed as his own. Which is unusual, he likes to, or used to like to snuggle.
Note: I had a hard time reading the Dr's handwriting so I probably misspelled several words above.
