Picking Paint Can Be Fun - Who knew?
We've been doing some cosmetic work on the house. The girls room is underway. We have a plan for the middle bedroom. Now we're trying to figure out what to do with the living/dining room.
I went to the Behr site from Home Depot, they have this cool paint color selection process. http://www.behr.com/behrx/homedepot/ Last night P and I spent about an hour or so trying to pick out a color or colors for the living/dining room space. It's a weird L-shaped space and we have hardwood floors. P doesn't want the paint to exactly match the color of the floors and wood trim. So we were trying to find something we thought would look good with the wood color (maple/light reddish brown).
We ended up cracking each other up with truly awful color combinations. At one point I decided that one wall should be a deep rose pink and the other walls should be some kind of green, maybe a sage color. P said that when people came in and grossed out that he'd just point at me for an explanation. OK, it doesn't sound so funny reading this but we ended up crying we were laughing so hard!
So if you have any color suggestions let me know! LOL
