It's the Great British Beer Festival! YAY!!!

Myself and cuvalwen will be there tonight, propping up one of the bars, at least. If anyone else will be there tonight, give a 'yo' in the comments and I'll look out for you!

Gah! We've been going to the GBBF for years,regular as clockwork Tue evening, Wednesday and Thursday without fail and guess what? This year we decided to give it a miss because our mates from Manchester aren't coming down for it... bugger!

Ah well, raise a (third-pint!) glass of Timothy Taylor's Golden Best (if they've got it in this year!) for me,won't you? I will be grumbling into my half of Alton's Pride (GBBF Champion Beer of Britain 2009) down the Triple fff brewery tap tonight...

Well, we go every year, so we'll just have to meet up and do it next year. Or, of course, we can do one in your neck of the woods (I'm always up for a good beer festival!)

Golden Best is on, but not caught it yet. I did have a rather nice half of Doctor Morton's Milk of Amnesia though. We'll see how we do tonight!

You mean there's part of "Great Britain" that's north of Watford? C *will* be surprised!

Actually, I should get up for a decent Northern beer festival some summer. Or, of course, hit the Cleethorpes Cider and Folk Festival one year (missed it due to dog issues this year)

Nooooo! Only just seen this! We were there 'til 7:30. Will be there Thursday/Friday if you go again (and possibly tomorrow. Season ticket FTW).
