This is for every stupid person I have ever known who bragged about moving out to Alberta to make more money because their min wage is apparently really high.

This might be true but I have never heard of anyone getting paid that price. Like Tim Hortons pays 10.00 and this is likely because it's the only way they get to keep workers.

I heard Tim Hortons/other coffee shops pay those prices cuz they don't have enough people willing to work in those places and they keep popping up all the time aka Starbucks, so they offer them a much higher pay to keep them working/attract workers.
