Here's kind of a weird question. It occurred to me that we all said what we don't want to write, but none of us said what we don't want to read.
Since we want it to be secret, should we have, like, a "please don't" post or something? Because I'd hate to accidentally give someone porn if they don't want it, or squick someone out without even meaning to. o_o!
But seriously, I think that might be a good idea. Especially if someone's request was pretty broad in that it could be taken down a G-rated path or an NC17-rated path.
LOL, I know! But I know people who aren't comfortable reading OR writing NC-17 stuff but are just fine with R things, it's just a matter of fine shades of difference. :D It just occurred to me that I know what I'm into/okay with probably won't hold true for everybody and I'd hate to give someone a present that wound up rubbing them the wrong way.
That's a good idea. Do you think that it would work if I asked people to e-mail me if there's something that they don't want to read so that I can attach it to the request, or should I make a public post that people can add to at their leisure and then everyone should check before starting to write?
