It's incidents like this that make me really mad about our current state of affairs.
Perhaps it's time for me to step up and actually take some action.

I love Ellen.
I am so glad that she is in a position of media-power and that she can act as an advocate for the gay community.

I do too. I'm so glad that she's using her position of power to send a positive message. I'm so sad/disappointed at the whole situation, though.
