Important Announcement and Challenge Reminders

Because of the extremely low participation, due partly to the low number of members, I think this will probably be the last cattle drive at M7Land. :( I've had fun hosting challenges, but it's been hard to come up with new and exciting challenges, and the interest in participation just isn't there anymore. Perhaps it could be restarted at some ( Read more... )

Well, sad as it is, I think you're making the right decision. Given the lack of participation in general, it just looks like most of us don't have the time or interest these days. I wish it wasn't so.

You've done a terrific job, pezgirl, and I just wanted to thank you *very* much for all the hard work and effort you've put into making this Comm such an enjoyable experience for me. I've had a truly wonderful time and it's helped me learn a LOT about creating things I never would have even attempted before (icons, artwork, fanfic, the list goes on).

Again, thank you for a helluva good time.

Thank you for the kind words! I know I'm really going to miss posting challenges and seeing everything that you guys come up with. But what I'll probably miss even more is just the interaction with everyone here. :(

I'd like to hope that maybe after a hiatus, if you're still interested at that point, you might test the waters about reviving the Comm. M7Land is a great venue for fan interaction on so many levels when you have a bunch of really active participants. Besides, Mag7 is a really fascinating and unique fandom with great characters and I think it's got longevity. New fans will find it as time goes by and old fans often 'rediscover' it.

I'm definitely open to re-opening the comm at some point in the future! The general M7 comms haven't had hardly any activity in the past few years though, so I'm not sure how many new fans there will be, or how many of the old fans will still be fans.
