As for the breakdown in holiday/birthday communications, well I won't repeat the words your Dad said when we realized you had called and we weren't home - the censor might not like it.
I really wish we could have come down there too but as usual, our timing stunk.
As far as I am concerned, these last two days just cannot pass fast enough but I understand your heartache - Hey! look at it this way - at least you know you will see him again! and soon.
Please thank your host family, from your real family, for taking such good care of you. Hopefully one day we will all be able to come for a visit and you can practice your translation techniques all over again.

hahahhaha sorry I am so late on responding to this one, i kinda lost sight of livejournal since coming home, but today is my first full day in gettysburg and i missed you a lot cuz ur so close yet so far away from me!
