How exactly do you use it?

Since day one I've used my debit card (but, of course, Pay Pal say these are "credit cards").

I've noticed that the majority of people on Live Journal and other forums use - or at least ask for - "Non-CC" Pay Pal.

Non-CC paypal is when you pay using existing funds in your paypal account or by transferring funds from your bank account into your paypal account. I believe you can bypass the 7-9 waiting period by adding a credit card to your profile. That will allow you to do instant transfers. Paypal will release the funds immediately to whomever you are sending the money before they transfer money from your bank account. They use the credit card as back-up in case they aren't able to get money from your bank account.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

I went through the saaame exact thing, except I was too scared to post in any of the communities because I didn't want to look stupid. x] I looked through allll the memories, FAQs and couldn't find anything. ANYWAY! For non-cc, I've added my bank account for an instant transfer. This is a lot easier than adding funds (I think). I hope this sort of helps-- if you have any questions, let me know! :D
