Thanks for sharing this list. I have very mainstream music tastes so I've not heard of many of these songs but I really like the way you describe them/lyrics you've chosen to represent. I'm going to download later tonight and check it out.

Well I'm hoping that at least some of these songs will strike a chord with you. If you have problems with hard rock then the closest to mainstream type of music would be Losing My Religion, All That I Am and Shallow. Maybe Sleeping With Ghosts and Selling The Drama as well. But they all have something spicy about them in terms of melody that distinguishes them from the average pop song. These are mostly rock songs anyway. And I love rock. Not that I am entirely anti-pop though; after all, I made a vid to 24 by Jem and was contemplating the idea of making another one to Unfaithful by Rihanna about a year ago. :)

Oops. I've heard Losing my religion of course. And I may have heard some of the others. I'm not a huge hard rock fan, but sometimes. It'll be interesting to hear them.

Ты остальные слушала кстати? :) Losing My Religion в моем представлении отличная песня для клипа по отношениям Билла и Ли сквозь все сезоны начиная с мини. Я уже привыкла что многие песни в голове сразу оформляются сюжетом или картинками, хоть и туманными. Хыхы. Синдром клипмейкера :) И сама бы сделала этот клип, будь у меня больше времени.

Не все, у меня закачка глючила, но Религию я отлично знаю - одна из первых импортных песен, что меня по голове ударила.
Я, ессно, образами не мыслю :) Не дано.
Я и смотрю, ты пропадаешь - никак не разберусь, когда там сессия, когда просто завал...

Да Религия - старая-добрая классика, менее любимой от этого не становится, как и Show Must Go On впрочем.

Дело не в сессии, у меня счас просто семейные обстоятельства, дедушка на операцию ложится...

I remember hearing some of these some months ago - which probably means you and I were discussing vidding ;)

I've downloaded the zip file and uploaded it to my mp3 player to see if anything shakes loose. I've had a Smallville Clark/Lois vid bouncing around in my head for a while, but if vidding Firefly is any guide I'll need to come back to BSG afterwards to relax a little :P

I particularly like Over by Evans Blue, but it's not a song that calls out for a happy vid...

You definitely heard some of it, because those months ago I felt like I had to share the images in my head inspired by songs like Over or Sleeping With Ghosts, and you seemed to be the right person to share my obsession with - even more so - considering that we have similar tastes in music. :)

I don't watch Smallville sadly, I think I'm too far behind with it to start from S1 now. But if you make a video I guess I'm going to give it a try and watch it no matter what the fandom is. Even if it's a South Park vid :D

It's not, but then Lee's not a happy character overall. And you seem to have a knack for working with angsty material, we've seen proof of that in Freak On A Leash and
Thoughtless ;)

Every time a hear this song - I can't help wondering if it was specially written for UB Lee :D
