Oh my God. Amazing, amazing vid. The editing (like all of your work) is out of this world. And the clip choices and the song are simply perfect. I particularly adore the 'Kara section' as she reacts to the truth about Sam, and the intercut of Kara running in 'Revelations' and Gaeta running in 'Occupation' is haunting.

I've been meaning to comment and tell you how much I love your work for a while. 'The Ledge' and 'Canta Per Me' are incredible, and I'm completely in love with 'Illusion and Dream' - without doubt one of the best vids, hell, probably the best vid in the fandom.

Thank you very much for your feedback! I'm glad you approve this song choice, I thought it was very fitting for the subject I wanted to dive into. The most incredible thing is probably that nothing of it has been planned, which can't be usually said about most of my work. I just felt compelled to sit down and flash out this video making those choices party on instinct and partly out of sheer storylines assessment and calculation.

Kara's reaction to the truth about Sam is my personal canon, those are exactly the thoughts that were written on her face when she discovered he's a cylon. The fact that she doesn't act on those emotions and thoughts is another sad story of her discovery on Earth...

really loved this! i think my favourite part was kara and gaeta both running, for pretty much the same reason: to save lives. i like that parallel, because they're on different sides now.

Thanks for watching and commenting! I think Kara and Gaeta's POVs are represented more than other characters' in this vid because I wanted to draw that parallel in motivations of two different camps basically deriving moral and emotional sources from the same well.

Wow wow wow. That was excellent. Loved the parallels you drew between Gaeta running on New Caprica and Kara in Revelations. The Chief/Centurion flashes at the end were just great, as well. And, shipper that I am, I must say that the Kara/Lee footage from the Oath was very enjoyable (to say the least!) too. Thanks so much for sharing this.

Many people seem to have liked the Kara/Gaeta running moment, which is very satisfying to hear. Tyrol/Centurion idea came to my mind nearly at the last moment... good thing is that I still remember S2 much better than S4.0 :) As for the Kara/Lee scene... well, I couldn't help myself :P Had to sweeten the pot.

And tonight's episode promises to have more pilots goodness. I'm looking forward to watching it!

Thank you for letting me know you enjoyed watching, Steph! I love the song as well. And the good thing is that during my vidding of this one I realised I'm actually willing to remain hopeful for the worthy resolution of some storylines in my favorite show :)
