I just finished watching 1.7! I see why his story captured your imagination... now I see what had you so annoyed!! I'm so glad you made the vid--it's beautiful. I loved the wolf and when it first came in I thought of you. I'm sorry that Graham got sacrificed in the (television) cause of convincing us that the Mayor was truly evil.
I love the way you frame both the wolf and Graham in the headlights of Emma's car at the start. And the wolf howling at 0.44 is gorgeous! I'm so glad you made the vidlet of this--there was so much poignancy in his story.
Thank you! :-) I just felt compelled to do it quickly. Haven't felt that way about vidding for ages. It's so funny people keep saying how hot the guy is who played Graham but to me the crucial factor was a story about a guy who dared to get his heart back in the world of hearless zombies... and payed for it. But he still dared. He also challenged Emma with his child-like behavior. I remember I was laughing so hard when they got to the tomb and then he looked up and saw the sign from the book and Emma asked him - What is it? And he said - This is my heart. I just laughed my head off I think because I imagined how dumb this whole exchange must look on paper in the script without actors brining life and meaning to the words)))). And then I fell for it because it still feels kind of clumsy in the episode but instead of being ridiculous it plays out exactly the way it's supposed to - highlights Graham's illness, his skewed state of mind, how feverish and desperate he is to the point of not hearing the way his nonsense sounds. What is just

It's a great feeling when you feel compelled to make something fast, I think! :) Seize the moment and get that catharsis. :)
Yeah, I was pretty immune to Graham's looks--I only got interested in him at all when he started getting his memory back.

Yeah, they really sold it. If you imagine the script it's TERRIBLE. ;) But when someone can show they really believe it, like this actor did, it's something else entirely. In an episode like this, I could believe in the 'fairytale' past life of these characters. With others (like Jiminy and Cinders) it felt more of an active effort to suspend disbelief
