Wow, oh ... WOW. I'm overcome with emotion right now, so I can only stutter out how impressed I am with this. It's straight away, on first watch, one of my favourite BSG vids. It reminded me what I love about this show and its characters, and it moved me to tears. Twice. Earlier the second time! Because this is a vid that will reward rewatching for a long time to come. In fact it's a vid I'm already composing essays about in my head! You deserve far FAR more detailed feedback then this, but right now I'm just clutching the vid to my heart and crying.

Oh, Bob! You have no idea how glad I am that you liked this work so much, because almost every single moment and clip in it means a lot to me emotionally, not just as some faceless part of the story or idea I was trying to deliver overall. I'd love to read your imaginary essays if you ever are in the mood to share some of your thoughts at all. And can I cry with you a little? I think I'm just overwhelmed by the number of times I was close to tears while making this vid, I promise to be quiet and not to disturb you... ;)

I will work on the essays. *nods* It's going to take me a while to get out of the emotion and into clear thought though. ;) And yes, please cry along with me! I feel less alone.

I saw that I had TOTALLY MISSED your Lee vid! I'm so sorry! I desperately want to watch it but I had just watched this one and wanted to give the Lee vid its own 'space' in my emotional landscape, if that makes sense. This was such a big vid for me, I need some time to process it before viewing another vid that I am sure will be just as amazing.

Hee. There's no rush at all! :)

I saw that I had TOTALLY MISSED your Lee vid! I'm so sorry!

Don't tell me about being sorry because I feel totally guilty and embarrassed by the fact that I didn't comment on your Middleman vid which is hands down one of the BEST Lee videos I've EVER seen. There's no excuse for that... No matter how busy I was I could've found time to leave brief feedback at least. No matter how much I don't like leaving brief feedback when there are many things to say. I'll try to make it up of it's even possible.

I had just watched this one and wanted to give the Lee vid its own 'space' in my emotional landscape, if that makes sense.

Beautifully said ;) And it makes sense, absolutely. Lee always needs some special space in heart and thorough focus of mind in my book :)

Very very VERY nice!! I loved it.
That song was gorgeous and even though I didn't know what it was saying as I watched, it just seemed to fit.
Downloading. Thanks so much!

Thank you! :) I posted lyrics' translation under the original in Italian. I love this song, it's very beautiful and heartbreaking in a way, the music itself as mush as the vocalization.

What a great vid. And to make me like it when I don't understand most of the lyrics is pretty impressive. In this vid, it was like opera, you just get it.

My favorite parts were of course, the razor effect (though I was peeking at pilots behind there ;-) ) and the parts when the music changed at 1:06, 2:07, and 3:02. And somehow, that last bit got me when Lee is hugging Kara (3:07) and then he just sort of dips his nose in her hair and breathes her in. I can usually make it to through an emotional vid, but then at the end a moment like that . . . gah, there aren't words.

Thanks so much for sharing it.

Thank you for your lovely feedback :)

Yep, that was the point. Pilots should be in focus, not the effect itself :)

and the parts when the music changed at 1:06, 2:07, and 3:02.

I love those moments in the song, although they were hard to vid, because I wanted the clips' sequence to flow smoothly and be as piercing and 'flying' as the music at the same time.

and then he just sort of dips his nose in her hair and breathes her in.

I know... Just like Kara breathes Lee in when he hugs her and tells her he believes her in Six Of One. She also dips her nose and takes a deep breath, there's an obvious movement of her lungs and it makes me inhale as well, sorta through her ;)

M, incredible editing (I feel like I'm just being repetitive everytime you post a vid, but the care you put into these, the time, just makes them all the more stunning). Loved that you used Mini-current footage, it certainly highlighted the journey.

Beautiful music.

Ok, I need to scrounge up some free time so that I can comment in more depth, because I've watched this vid through three times now, and it just gets better with every one viewing.

It might take me a while, but I'm definitely going to have to spam you with feedback on this one :)

It took me more than a week to clear my thoughts, put aside my triggered emotions and leave some proper lengthy feedback on Thoughtless. So please take your time, I can definitely wait, because you know your opinion means much, right? Doesn't really matter if you comment in more details today or the day after tomorrow or even in a few months - I'll be just as happy to read what you think. And I know you're busy now with your move and house and swamped with work...

I want to comment in detail on this - I've never really listened to arias in any quantity, but this remains perhaps the most beautiful BSG vid I've ever seen. It's a measure of the way you've created this video that even when I try to pay attention to write notes, I can't the music and imagery just carries me away.

I'm sorry it's taking so long for me to get the time together to make comments, but I remain determined.

I'm also guilty of not responding to your comments on Thoughtless yet, but that's out of sheer self-indulgence; I've been enjoying reading and re-reading them so much that I find myself going back to re-read rather than going back to answer.

Thank you :) *is joyful* Although I'm not sure it could list so high; undoubtedly, there are many beautiful and talentedly made videos out there in BSG fandom.

It's ok, please don't feel guilty or worried about it in the slightest. The fact that you truly enjoyed the vid is enough for me to feel like my mission's accomplished :D

I have an urge to ask you whether or not your home address has already changed 'cause I want to send you stuff on no particular occasion)), but then I know you're busy, so I think it can wait until later.
