Doing nothing is not a plan. It's specifically a lack of a plan.

CBS kicked out '3 Lbs'. After three episodes. '3 Lbs' which was, let me remind you a replacement for 'Smith' that CBS also kicked out. After three episodes. I say, enough already! You have officially fallen into disfavor, CBS.

'Torchwood' 1x07 - 'Greeks Bearing Gifts' )

That's wonderful about Poland in the Volleyball World Championship! Yay. So they at least have the silver medal? That's awesome!

Yes, it's at least silver for them. I'm so excited about it. Volleyball is by far my favorite sport. I've been following the team's progress for years now, and they are finally winning big prizes. I even got up at 4.30 am today to watch it (damn Japan for being so far far far away), Which, well, might actually be my first time ever ;)
Good thing the final game is at 11.30. That's at least a sensible hour.

'Fining Judas' was definitely above average, and I enjoyed it a lot. For some reason, House has stopped getting me excited, though, in a way that SGA for instance does.

And it's really interesting how different you and me perceived the latest episodes of Dexter and Torchwood. I loved the Dexter ep (mostly because I thought Rudy and the whole 'family get-together' thing were awesome), and I disliked TW with a vengeance. Heh.

Actually, I don't think there is any other show on air that I'm reacting with so much glee to as SGA. It's insane how psyched I am about these new episodes. It looks like SGA has matured and finally feels really confortable with itself. And it's really been quite stellar ( ... )

So, yeah, are perspectives do differ quite a lot. However, since we are both women of superior minds, we know that diversity is a thing of great value ;)

Heh. Very well put! *g*

But seriously, I love reading about a different perspective - sometimes I get too engrossed in something to even consider that there might be a different way to see things, and sometimes it's good to be reminded. :)

Same with me.
And seeing other people reactions often makes me notice things that I really didn't pay attention to before. And then my own perspective gets deeper. It's all good.

Dude, that's totally sweet! I love volleyball. I'm decent at it...not really tall enough to be on a team though. I really enjoy playing and watching....it's so fun!
Good luck to Poland.
Second in the world is already kick-ass.
I think Poland'll win. Have this feeling.
I'm routing for them! (although I don't think I'll be able to find it on my TV anywhere)
: (

After 23 years, may Poland be victorious!
hahaha

Volleyball is the only sport I don't completely suck at. But I still like to watch way more than play.
And it really helps that practically all the players have these tall, lean yet muscled thing going for them, doesn't it?
You think they'll win. Well, you might be on to something ;)
But, seriously, if they lose, if only they go down fighting, I couldn't be more proud of them.
Damn, I'm really taking this personal, am I not? Well, I've been following their constant struggle for years now, I think I'm entitled.

yeah, they're all built conveniently for the sport. All athletes are built for their sport. Except I didn't really mean convenient. They train to make their bodies the best for the sport.
yeah. cuz I know ;)

I'm not bad either!
too bad you didnt live, like, across an ocean and then maybe we could have played each other ;)

True, the way they all shape their bodies surely is impressive.
Still, volleyball is possibly the only sport that I watch not only to ogle some supple male figures. Sure, that's also a factor, but, surprisingly, not the main one. Which, I guess, makes me a serious fan, not just, well, a girl.

Yeah, there's this huge body of water kinda in the way. But that would be one mean game. And I would totally cheat. I haven't yet actually figured out a way how you can possibly cheat in volleyball, but I'd be so there.
No, seriously, it would be fun.

I liked that episode of Dexter as well, though I didn't see the need for the Doakes storyline. As it is now it's just hanging in the air without a connection to anything.

True. It was more like they just had to give Doakes - and, by association, Angel and Laguerta - something to do in this episode. After all, the three of them couldn't just tag along with the Morgan kids on the merry road trip, could they? Still, they could have come up with something at least marginally connected to the Ice Truck Killer case, and not just some random story.

I totally agree. That's kind of what I was expecting.
They could have just focused on the Morgan kids that episode, we don't have to know what goes down in the precinct.

THe precinct people are surely fun, but I agree.
And now Doakes has already two storylines under his belts (fist his affair, now this) that were completely disconnected from the main storyline. Seriously, why the bother?
