Might not be going too great, but it surely could be going worse

My tv reviews muse left me. The full-on 'I'm taking my things and I'm leaving your sorry ass here to rot' deal. It was a hard break-up. Ugly, you could say. There were a lot of words exchanged that most probably should have been left unsaid. And then she was gone. She'll come back, I know she will. She always does. I say I'm sorry, she's says that ( Read more... )

If the jury (or whoever makes the nominations) decided to finally recognize that yes, the fantasy/science fiction genre does in fact exist, why on earth did the go with 'Heroes'?

The Golden Globes are basically a buzz/popularity contest. "Heroes" is the new, hip, "in" drama, and BSG has been around for a while. I mean, last year they nominated "Prison Break." For Best Drama. Now, not that PB wasn't good, but...best drama?

When I picture the Hollywood Foreign Press (at least for TV), I always picture a bunch of popular kids in a school hallway. If the show doesn't know the secret knock/password, it's so totally OUT. :/

Yeah, I know it's more about popularity than anything else, but still the bitterness remains.

You're right it was the same with PB last year. Prime entertainment? Sure. Best drama? Not so much,

Sure it's ok. I'm just on a writer's block. Again. And, most probably, not for the last time, too.
Sometimes I talk to inanimate objects/abstract concepts as if they were actual people. Mostly, because it makes cursing/whining so much easier ;)
So, yeah, it's all more or less ok. I just have to give myself a kick in the ass and start doing something but, well, since I just found two latest 'Star Wars' books (to which I'm tragically, catastrophically addicted) on the web, it probably won't be anytime soon.
