I basically spent the last three days reading X-Men comics. Which wasn't supposed to happen. The result is that I have an exam in about four hours and I haven't even started on the studying. Well, better late than never, right?

But first:

Steven Soderbergh's 'Ocean's Thirteen' )

volleyball, rescue me, comics, movies, tv shows

Thanks. I'm probably gonna need it.

True, Zeta-Jones and Roberts were the main reasons why part two was so painful. It's good that part three is an boys-only adventure.

Oh, and which X-Men comics were you reading?
Practically all that were published in the last year. But I'm focusing mainly on the adjective-less 'X-Men' because for some weird reason I seem to be in love with Iceman and on 'X-Men: First Class' miniseries because it is cuter than words can express (and for some weird reason I seem to be in love with Iceman). The adjective-less 'X-Men' are drawn in a pretty wacky way but it works for them anyway. And the art in 'X-Men First Class' is downright beautiful.
I'm also quite fond of the 'Ultimate X-Men'. Mostly because the art is nice and it's fianally a series that I can track from the very beginning without having to go back forty years or so.
Now I'm trying to decide whether to go into the whole 'Civil War' business or not. Damn, that thing is huge.

Well, perhaps not great (the test was bewildering, to say the least) but passable, I hope.

'New X-Men' are waiting in the line. I'll get to them. I'll probably read 'Astonishing X-Men', too - I heard many good things about it. I'm not so hot about the team roster, though (the only ones I like there are Cyclops and Beast), so it'll probably take me some time.

I'm most probably gonna cave in and get through that 'Civil War' behemoth. Oh, who am I kidding, like there was really any doubt that I would (I'm a very weak person, I deal terribly with temptations of any sort). And, yeah, after that, I'm probably gonna move on to 'World War Hulk', too. Even though I hate hate hate Hulk himself. The promised heavy body count (or at least some gleeful maiming) is just too apealing (unless it's Iceman, of course, because then I'm just gonna get royally pissed).

Well, it went so-so. I think I should pass, though. Barely but still. The good thing is that, if I had really studied longer, I doubt I would have done all that much better. It was this kind of nasty. But it least I don't have to feel quilty ;)

Oh, you simply must. It was fantastic. Quite bizarre at times, but, yeah, fantastic.
