It was quite strange to see how people looked older, and had all these different things happen to them in what they said was a span of ten years.

Some of us didn't experience it, though it makes me feel a little sad that something quite bleak is all we have to look for in the future.

Thoough knowing that people will die a little too young for my ( Read more... )

People looked older? What happened?

Glad I missed that. *scribbles out something about wrinkled old men*

Hm? Oh, yes, they did. They all were from ten years in the future, and people were aurors, mediwizards, professors, or even professional quidditch players from what I saw.

It's something that this school felt like doing. Seriously, it was quite emotionally draining.

Huh, weird. Not the strangest thing it's ever done though. There could have been singing and dancing involved. Of ALL the events that would be traumatizing.... *mutters about mullets and nightmare drag queens*

Actually, it has a lot of people quite pensive, and I'd think even a bit depressed from the looks of things. While probably not strange, it is probably one of the most emotionally taxing experience they've all gone through.

Yah... I'm sorry you had to find out that way... But now ya know a bit about why I don't run around blatantly claiming to be what I am. Most Wizards... Even in this time, not even considering all the things that occurred to lead up to that...

... Well, to say that they are usually 'intolerant' of such 'abnormalities' is putting it VERY nicely... I'm sorry you had to find out that way...

And try not to worry too much about it... *grim/unsure* ... War is a messy and nasty thing, but I just hope... Now that we know what could happen... We can try to take steps to prevent it from happening, you know ( ... )

I had an inkling, actually, though that just more like confirmed it~ I try not to do so as well because I don't want the students to run amok with the news that there's a vampire among them, have concerned parents try to forcibly oust me, and all the things that could make it more difficult for other students like me that simply want to learn despite our background.

Oh, of course they're intolerant. I've seen how things have gone down for the major part of my life.

As for the war, I really do hope it can be avoided. Too many young people die, and that's simply more unnatural for me. As for our kind joining the ranks of him, I'd say that the others that joined up with him are missing the better half of their minds. I've lived long enough to know that no matter what, no matter how long it takes, those with bad intentions will fall. After two world wars, I think that's a good enough exampleOh, and thank you oh so very much for doing so~! Yes, they do help, and they taste better than those potions they have prepared. I swear, they ( ... )

Exactly... I try to be careful about it, too... But, tch... It's difficult.
But aside from this just being a nice easy job, I actually kinda like being here for kids like you... But of course, if I were found out, I'd likely loose my job and any chance of helping out around here ( ... )

[A slight giggle can be heard over the journal when he mentioned 'kids'. Oh, if only he knew she wasn't exactly quite young as she appeared to be.]

Yes, it is quite difficult, and I know the feeling. Especially when kids randomly get cuts and they start to bleed. It takes all your willpower to try to stop yourself from licking the wound clean, and just try to act normal.

Hm, if only their laws weren't so stringent, then maybe they wouldn't have a problem with the majority of our kind in the future. We could help out, and we are basically a little difficult to kill by normal means. Though we're basically screwed if they throw a sack of rice or grains in front of us~

Oh, well, I don't know about personal mixes, but I know I've been a fair amount of time on this earth myself. Before coming here, I basically had to go 'vegan' for a while. It helped that I worked at a butcher shop before, and took my fair share without the boss knowing before I decided to come here.

Maybe a taste-test might help~?

Oh, Matt...

You of all people don't deserve to go like that. You deserve to live a nice, full, long and happy life!

Though, now that you know what happens, won't you be able to know what to do so as to not go through that?

No, it's not a matter of thanks, Matt, it's because you really are one that I think deserves better than that.

Please, it would hurt those that you love as well to know that you've passed away. If anything, there must be a way to avoid that, there must!
