I am deliberately  intentionally trying not to be so damn literal. Plus it's great fun.

Somehow I've become the person on call for overnight production issues relating to this rather biggish and growing project. So now I get calls if shit breaks with which I had absolutely nothing to do with implementing/know nothing about.  The sky has descended upon the ground, and everything is smothered in sticky, wet snow. The horizon is tentative at best as if it is no longer necessary. The edges of the trees, the houses, begin to vanish.
