Cosplaying in the City

Alright, so far it looks like I'll be going to this year's AV-Con. Unlike in America we Australians only have one anime convention a year in our local city and this year (being my first year going) I was thinking of cosplaying as Crim. That sounds like fun! Luckily Crim's outfit isn't too complex with designs and prints... If there's a costume shop nearby I'll bet they have basic materials you could use... I haven't made real costumes before or anything... so I can't help much... perhaps if you Google it you'll have some more useful results? :3

I asked the friend of mine who's good at designing clothes and she said she would need to see a picture of Crim's outfit so I got the conceptial drawings off of my DVD and showed her and she said straight away that Crim's pants were Hakama. I looked up Hakama designs on the Internet with her help and I found a good design. I already know how I'm gonna do his hair and top, all that's left now is to make the costume. AV-con is in July so I have a bit of time.
