Would that be more like a German "r". My sister would roll her r's back there, too, while trying to get the Spanish "r". Congrats, Mila!

Here's what I did:

You know when you make a "r" hard, more like a "d" with the front of your tongue? Start with your back-of-the-throat roll and end with the hard r. The first r will roll forward into the end sound, and voila! There it is.
