So I was talking to this girl, and things were going so well. Then she started getting really busy with school and work, so busy in fact she didn't have the time to return a text message or an IM. Who is so busy that they don't have 30 seconds free? Sorry but that is just BS, in my life I have found that I make time for that which is important

on the side of someone who is usually horribly busy with work AND school.
trust me.
sometimes.. even the 30 seconds is hard to find.

and I guess the key is..
you make time for what you want to make time for.

so obviously. if she didnt make time.. maybe the interest isnt there.

but trust me.
its possible to get that busy.
especially when your priority ISNT of the opposite sex.

I can understand not being able to come up with the time to go out of your way and text message someone or IM someone, especially when your focus isn't on the opposite sex, but returning someone's text or IM is very different. It is right in front of you and I refuse to believe that someone's schedule is so busy they can't return a text, I'm sorry but that is just rediculous. Especially when the interest has already been voiced and acted upon.
On a lighter note, how the heck have you been? How is the new place?

people get busy and you know they care about you when they can find a few seconds to respond to a text message even if it was sent a couple hours prior. sometimes im really bad at calling people back but texting is never a problem because when i get in my car and im driving somewhere i can open my phone up (regardless how "dangerous" it is) and reply. i feel that, if someone can give you a few moments of their life to be courteous to you then they actually care. i found myself in a similar situation - not with the opposite sex but rather a friend, and i kind of gave up. im not important enough so neither are they?
