I would suggest you read stories by irena-adler on LJ.

Her Watson-verse is one of the best series of Numb3rs fiction there is. She does a wonderful job of writing their lives. Charlie/Colby is one pairing and there are many more.

If you go to her site you can go to her home page and click on master list link and check out all her stories. she has gen. stories from when the boys were young, to current stories and the brothers are coming to terms with the changes in their lives.
