Today Jared and I spotted a strange bird. We wanted to see what it was because we totally thought it was a turkey, but it was sitting on some power lines... that isn't where a turkey belongs

That is, in fact, what is known as a Turkey Vulture because of their resemblance to a turkey. Cool, huh? Lots of 'em in SoCal, but I haven't ever seen one so up close as this picture.

i think i saw it again when i was traveling down arcane behind royal. it was flying in the air and it was close to my car.

wow that things really got an ugly mug! there are lots of wild turkeys up by my place and lots of quail to. i think im gonna hunt some down this thanksgiving.
