We just got back from it in IMAX (yes, I was able to drag bunny, kicking and screaming to the movies) and I thought it was the most richly visual movie I have ever seen.

It was pretty much story wise, 'Dances with Wolves' in space.... but I loved the film.

It'll likely be the DVD release before I get to see this one, as my 'crowd' issues have become prevalent enough that I avoid theatres even when I have the scratch to make the show. What I've seen of the reviews look good, though; I'm looking forward to it.

As for the James Horner nitpick, he's becoming notorious for 'recycled' music. Don't believe me? Sit down and watch Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982), then follow it up with Aliens (1986). In spite of loving both both films, the recycled themes and riffs annoy the hell out of me. If I'm in a picky mood I have to avoid Aliens else be driven mad. :(
