SSHG Exchange Comments?

Does anyone know why I am seeing the number of comments on a SSHG Exchange entry but can't actually read the comments?

Some folks are having a wonky expeirence. for example. As I am commenting to you here there are is a NEW menu of buttons for logging in and commenting from twitter, google, open id, rooski sites, and even anon.

I just sarted seeing those. I suspect there is a browser or layout incompatability.

maybe I can customize them out, but I am not a good CSS programmer.

I was having problems in firefox on the fics with multi-chapters, all I saw was a little twirly spiral spinning and spinning. I could comment but could not read it or read other comments. I switched to Google Chrome and could read it all okay there.

I had to have my hard drive replaced last week (totally unrelated to this) and after I downloaded Firefox on the new hard drive I can see comments again now. Weird!

That is weird! Droxy mentioned on her LJ that Internet Explorer 8 was having difficulty and that is what I was using, so I switched over to Google Chrome and it's working fine now. (Well, how's that for a run-on sentence?)

*wails* Why does technology have to change so much?!?!?

I was having trouble on Internet Explorer 8, but now I've switched over to Google Chrome, and it's working fine.

I've started having problems with LJ on Firefox. It refuses to show me the sshg_exchange journal page ('recent entries'), but lets me access individual posts. And tonight, I haven't been able to post comments using Ffox. :-(

Chrome seems to be working fine for me, but I've tried to keep all my personal stuff on Ffox and work stuff on Chrome, so that's a bit frustrating. Not sure if I'm glad to know it's not just me!

Christev, As I noted in comment above, I had to redownload Firefox due to getting a new hard drive being installed and now LJ works for me again. Maybe if you unintstall it and re-download it will help. (Or maybe not, but possibly worth a try).

...and all of a sudden this afternoon, the problem is gone again.
*shrugs*
Beats me what goes on with LJ half the time!

p.s. In other news, aren't you a lucky girl all at once! :D
You should get an official response soon - checking links on your card and others tonight.

I have both Chrome and Internet Explorer 8 on my computer, so I just switched over to Chrome to look at the SSHG Exchange. I hope you find a fix that works for you (although from your comment below, it seems that the problem cleared up).
