I hope all is well with you. We haven't spoken in a while and I was wondering how you were both doing (as well as Charlotte). It won't be too long now, will it?
The reason I'm writing is to talk to you about Gideon and me. We're planning to wed as soon as possible, and when the topic of possible witnesses came up we thought of you two. Would you do us the honor of being present to witness our marriage?
We'd both love to get together with you something soon to discuss the date and time, and to just catch up, really. Let me know when if you'd be free for dinner some night.
