Hrm. so. yeah. that was a really random evening. It was fun talking to Mr. Froess for like 5 hours. no, really, it actually was fun. and my family acted civilized, which was a bonus. And so went the 11th Annual Women of Distinction Awards.

*edit may 21* I forgot to mention that I actually won the award. lol.

Mr. Froess didn't come to mine, he hates me... Who received the award then in your category? Who could beat out my shining star?

Mr. Froess had to come because he's the one who nominated me lol. I'm sure he doesn't hate you.

In my category...there was a woman who was pregnant and due on the night of the dinner, a girl who basically runs mt. doug, and then a girl with no legs and only one arms who won a billion gold medals at the paralympics and is the top of her class at UVic in Electrical engineering..she's also the only female.

But believe it or not...I actually won.

You won!!! How come you didn't mention that in your post Ms Molly? It made me think someone had beaten you out which I think would be impossible to do, I guess I was right, it is impossible! Congrats my shining star!

Aww. Thanks Jenn. It didn't occur to me to mention it in the post. I guess I was still a little bit in shock. I'll have to edit it in. lol.
