The sand on the west coast is about ten thousand times nicer than the east. This is hardly surprising, the climates are completely different and the oceans are entirely different beasts. I have this thing, where I collect little bits of sand from every place I go where there's water. Inevitably I end up studying the geology of the area to try to ( Read more... )

More to come later, since this is an ungodly hour to be awake, but I cannot relate to you how much I love you.

The beauty of it is you don't have to.

I think you should come be my au pair. I think I miss you, and New York. For some reason, I really like the fact that you like when I ramble like this.

I am at this moment, but the answer to that is not as often as I should or would like to. Which is a shame, because I have a feeling the sparring with you would be highly entertaining, to put it mildly.

Reading and Writing. Those were always the reasons we got along so nicely.

It's great to see you alive and well. It's been too long, Ryan.

Just one question though. Where do you put the sand?

I'm glad to be alive. I'm not sure what happened to me for a while there. Perhaps getting distracted with the "exciting" life that I pretend to have. ;*

That is odd but very interesting. We all have our odd quirks and that's what makes us fun. Do you ever take the time to re-look at the sand?

You are performing those well, beyond any expectations that I ever had and then some. I realize it doesn't rest all that comfortably with you all the time, that you'd rather be working, but we'll play musical chairs soon enough and I'll be house husband and cool dad.

There's not much to plan for the future, anyhow. The picture isn't going to change much, I promise.

You'll be cool dad no matter what. You already knew that, though. I love you, if I don't say it enough or even if I do.

Time to go shopping.

I'm lost on this one.
