It wasn't very often that Kuja would come down to the pool, but today was one of those rare occasions. Not many people seemed to go to the pool on a regular basis, so the silver-haired man knew it should be empty. As he stepped into the room with a towel wrapped around his waist, he blinked in surprise seeing someone else already there.
Kuja certainly hadn't expected anyone to have beaten him to the current solitude of the pool and stood there for a moment with a hand on his hip, considering what to do. He then walked over near the edge of the pool, deciding to see how long it would take the brunette to notice there was another presense in the room.
Slowing as he reached the shallows, Irvine wondered if he had enough energy to get out of the pool to go grab something to drink. Standing and wading to the side, he looked down at the gooseflesh forming on his arms and chest from the cooler air and shivered a little.
Least I'm not going pruney yet, he thought looking at his hands.
Sinking his hands back into the water, Irvine caught a hint of color that didn't match the pool's normal surrounds out of the corner of his eye. He didn't realise he had company, a somewhat familiar face that his mind tried to place within his daily routine of classes and general lazing about.
"Jump right in," he invited as he sank back into the water. "The water's great."
Giving a faint smirk, Kuja unwrapped the towel from his waist and tossed it in the direction of the nearby wall. He then slowly slipped into the water, going under for a moment to get his hair wet and resurfacing a moment later. After brushing a few wayward strands of silver hair from his face to join the rest, he turned his attention to the other in the pool.
"Yeah, it's nice to have the pool all to myself occasionally. Don't have to worry about dodging someone doing bombs in the water. Not that I mind the company either," Irvine smiled at Kuja, eyeiing the pale skin and the wet hair that stuck to it.
"Ah, is your hair supposed to do that?" he asked, eyes fixiating on the top of his companions head. "I dont' think I've seen you wet before."
