Who: Rufus and Reno.
What: Rufus promised he'd go and see Reno - plus, he's all by his lonesome. :D
Where: Reno's dormitory.
When: Presumably before Reno's meeting with Tseng. (if after's easier, lemme know!)
Warnings: None!

Classes had just finished for the day, and Rufus was headed back to his dormitory, planning on changing into some warmer clothes ( Read more... )

(ooc: I'm just gonna go on an assume it happens a day before Reno had to meet Tseng, since we don't know what's gonna happen with Tseng or anything...

Reno took his time walking back to his dorm after the class. He hung his black jacket over his shoulder idly and had the sleeves of his white shirt rolled up to his elbows dispite the cold air. If anyone asked why he'd say cold was just a state of mind and he was too sexy to feel it. He chuckled lightly to himself thinking about that.

He was in no hurry and he let it show, walking lazily he reached the Ramuh tower and it's observatory eventually. That's where he was stopped by a sight he wasn't expecting. A pleased grin spread slowly on his lips as he recognised the figure sitting on edge of one couch. "Rufus! What brings me this pleasure?" he purred while walking up to the other boy. Seemed like this evening wasn't going to be as boring as he had feared.

It was getting gradually colder as it got later in the evening, and Rufus couldn't help but shiver unconciously, drumming his fingers against the couch covers and wishing, not for the first time, that he hadn't left his jacket where he did. Stupid freaking scary teacher.

As he heard footsteps coming up towards the observatory, Rufus lifted his head and watched Reno approaching with slight amusement, a small smile on his face. "Do I need a reason to come and see you?" he replied with a smirk, getting up off the couch almost reluctantly as the redhead walked up to him. "I thought some company would be nice, and besides, I did promise I'd come and see you," he teased. Truth be told, Rufus couldn't be more glad to see the Turk right now if he'd tried.

Reno noted that Rufus didn't have his usual trench coat, just the black turtleneck. It was a nice change and hot, but at the same time a little unnerving. Rufus always had the jacket. He didn't say his thoughts out loud, though, and didn't bother to dwell on them too long.

"I'm sure you don't do anything without a reason," he remarked, a lazy grin on his face. Rufus had indeed promised to come to see him but Reno hadn't let his hopes get up, surely the blond boy wasn't up to anything but meaningless flirting with him. His grin widened "Well you got lucky, in my usually busy schedule today happens to be free and so I'm all yours for the night," he winked.
