I caught you a delicious bass.

Tonight I learned that there are Egyptian mummies all over the world. There are some in Holland, even in Brazil. My question is why are they not called Brazilian mummies and so forth? Just because they're mummies they're Egyptian or what? Seems to me like that's profilin'...and profilin' is wrong!

That is crazy talk; you caught me a delicious bass, you should bring that when you come! j/k :) That is crazy about the mummy thing though. I didn't know that either. Perhaps we would all know if they were smart and called them brazilian mummies or where ever they are like you said. Guess you learn something new everyday!

I've not heard mummies found outside of Egypt called Egyptian mummies. I can't think of a good reason for doing that, except perhaps to draw away from the British mummy rep mommy thing; but if that were the case, it would be more correct to say 'preserved dead' or something along those lines.

Tell whoever calls Chinese mummies Egyptian mummies that they are a foo'. Make sure you say foo', too. No Ls for them!
