So long...?

I wonder how many people are still reading this in this space. I haven't run out of things to say, but I haven't said them all, mainly because of who may still be reading. (Though I'm not sure how it could possibly make things any worse at this point.)

I know what you mean about feeling lost and/or slightly disconnected when you go home. The first time I returned from Cleveland, I was chomping at the bit to get home. Then I got home and it was like....okay, now what? It felt about as small-town as a town with our mall in it can get.Everyone who is still there seems to be anxious to get out of it as soon as possible, so what draw is there to remain in a place that we have already lived in for 21+ years?

So, I still read these livejournal posts. Lemme know if you start writing on BlogSpot or something. It's nice to stay connected (even if only through small bursts of words on the internet).

I stopped writing here around '06 for similar reasons. MySpace is where I continued, but I'm thinking I need to go to BlogSpot.

Good luck with everything! Don't get too down about KoP and community. I went through it too, and even though Philadelphia isn't a huge geographic move, I've made a lot of positive changes, learned a lot, etc. After living here for a few months I'm also starting to feel a sense of community growing, especially now that I've gotten involved with a neighborhood theater. It's different for everyone. You'll figure it out.

Long comment. Hope it helped ;)
