I'm highly skeptical of you and Gavin moving in together to a new place, simply because you haven't been together that long at all, and moving into a new place with a lease and everything is a much bigger commitment than living at Olive Oil's. You're only 25, have been together for less than a year, and you're clean for real for the first time in your adult life (that I know of, anyway); shouldn't you be looking for how you want to live and where you want to live? I just worry that moving in with someone this soon will make you feel trapped later. Obviously, I don't know your guys' relationship well at all (and you know that he hasn't given me reason to have positive thoughts about it), but as someone who has done that (with an ex), it's not a situation you want to be stuck in if something does happen.
