I know how you feel, but you're not useless you know, I'm sure your boy and all of your friends would beg to differ with what you think. You might be lacking a certain bit of direction and purpose at the moment but rest assured you'll find what you need in time. It's just a matter of getting on with it ('it' being life) in the hope that things change soon. Never stop trying, keep in there.

I know you're right. I'm just getting frustrated because things keep going wrong when I decide to finally put my foot down and make things happen... but a lot of things are getting better, so I know there's a light at this end of this shit pile somewhere :)
