there's a ready-made version by Trader Joe's that's absolutely yummy. to make from scratch, use the brown bits leftover after searing the beef, combine with about 1/2 cup of beef or vegetable broth and 1 to 2 tbsps of butter and whisk it all together. after it thickens, let it reduce a bit then throw in grilled or sauteed mushrooms.

if they don't, try the supermarket at the basement of raffles city - can't think of the name at the moment - it's an american supermarket so it might have it. good luck!
