But don't be askin' me--I didn't make up that unibody term.

I stopped by the nearest Apple store to see how wonderful the new design is, but they're closed for remodeling.

Are you sure they have to mill it, not stamp it? Or maybe extrude then turn the ends down (tho that seems unlikely - don't know how they'd make the bent-down ends fit with the sides.)

Don't know much about making aluminium stuff, I confess.

If there were simple, cheaper alternative ways to get the same results, presumably they'd be smart enough to use them? I don't know, Jobs can get caught up in ideas he thinks are really sexy, but I'd hope that they're savvier now than when he built his expensive NeXT factories.
