Oh shit...

I am totally in love with some sock yarns over at Wolhalla. And with some sock-knitting books over at Amazon. Problem is: I don't even know whether I like to wear knitted socks...

I know, I know! It reeks of pun! It's... pungent!

Well, with that automagic yarn, they'll be works of art even if you don't like wearing them. And you can hang them up and not tell people it's automagic yarn, and impress them ;)

I love the automagic yarn, because the knitting goes faster with it. You keep wondering what the next colour will be.

I shall have to take some pictures of my nice stripey sweater. It wasn't done with automagic yarn, the yarn was just random-dyed, but the result is a very pretty stripey sweater in yellows and browns. It's also very warm, and rather tickly...

Knitted socks are really nice, but then we up here get these pesky things known as winters, you know. :)

...and in those winters, are knitted socks a good thing or a bad thing? Because over here, when it comes to hand-knit socks, many people get these pesky things known as itches...

They are good good thing. But then we usually wear two pairs, one pair of regular socks and one pair of warm socks outer to keep the itching to a minimum (Wool socks itches like crazy). Hand knit wool are the best, even if they have a tendency to wear out really fast (But granny not only can make them, she can fix them up a real treat :) ).
