You should use vinegar to clean the hammock, the smell of the vinegar will fade quickly and take the smell of pee with it. Also, the Wibra has these yellow squirt bottles of degreasing cleaning liquid which works really well. Spray it on the bars, let it sit for a few minutes, clean, rinse, tadaa! Be sure to rinse the latter thoroughly though, unlike vinegar that cleaning liquid is not safe for consumption.
house soda works well to desodorise and is available (and non toxic) from EVERYWHERE. I believe it also degreased AND can be used to unblock that pesky sink of yours. So you may want to soak the hammock in a solution of that then rinse and dry before putting back in place.
I do have to ask though: is it knitted?
the height comment made me laugh...I believe at the moment there are things lost in my flat that are *simply* on the high shelf in the cupboard...and I can't see them!
