You call me over; the tone in your voice tells me it isn’t good. Your eyes seem to put more clarification on that.
“I’ve thought about it.”
“And?” My hearts racing. Get it over with and break me.
“And… no matter how hard I try, you won’t stay away from my mind.”
“That’s…” I bite back my remark. That’s not my problem.
“Point is… you’re not really giving me a choice.” You grab my hand and really smile for the first time in weeks.
“I’ve missed you,” I whisper.
“Shh, same here.”
And we leave the studio, hand in hand.
