The queen is dead, long live the queen

Madam the Eldest is still grieving wee dafto, as are we all, but she's decided her grief will be comforted by a new kitty. So here is our little princess, a chinchilla/ragdoll mix. The sweetie and I were a little dubious about getting another tuxedo cat so soon, but this little darling fitted the bill and wasn't a long drive away.

Well that was a somewhat alarming subject title with the Queen's Jubilee long-weekend celebrations coming up over here. Wow, bad timing... I thought when I saw it, and went quickly to check the papers...
