Clothing memories

Going through old clothes to get rid of so I can make a little more space in my apartment. It's hard to part with some stuff even though I never wear it anymore, if just because of the memories attached!

- bought the velvet blazer on the Boston trip with Lariss, Amie, and Laura, right at the start of my first year at Smith College. It was my first time in Boston as well as my first time in an H&M in the US.

- my first host mother brought home the olive green sweated with the hood and three-quarter length sleeves for me one day. She had seen it in a store and thought of my style.

- faux lolita dress. Lillie and I both bought the same one at Target on separate occasions, both wore regularly to Haven at Diva's. Oh, the struggle of trying to find corsets/shirts to wear under it... and whether to let the lacy sleeves hang over my shoulders or have them up.

- lacy mint dress from Sweden 2013. Probably only tried it on because Dalton told me mint was 'in' that summer. Had to buy all new underwear because it was so see-through (thanks Lindex). Posed for a cute photo in the dressing room at H&M~ Took me ages to figure out the awkward zipper up the front looked a hundred times better with the top unzipped a bit.

- neon blue and black striped t-shirt with the open hole back. Wore so many times in the electro Liger days.<3

- heart cheetah print pink top with a black neck boarder/tie... so cute but such a hassle to constantly flat iron the ribbon and get it to sit straight. wore often in Kentucky to BBW.

- salmon/red diagonal striped sailor tshirt with the off-center bow on the collar... so adorable, reminded me of a French person when I wore it.

- kitty socks! navy blue covered in cats of all colors! orange and white and grey and yellow~ X3

- black cloth bag with silver sparkle pinstripes

- tiny silver steve madden purse that Val gave me for Christmas. there were two black ones and two silver; i traded andy my black on and REGRETTED IT FOREVER since the silver rubbed off sob. black would have been much more versatile, but at least I did get a lot of use out of it at the club!

- giant denim tote bagthat I got at BBW during one of the annual sales for like $1. only one pocket on the front, but it served me well in college hauling my monster of a laptop around.

- giant burgundy patent leather purse with a bow and a gold buckle on the front. LOVED THIS BAG even after I realized where the designer's name was hidden...... and it was Ivanka Trump. XD The grandfather of all giant purses. Could have killed someone with that thing. Straps were pathetically thing though and wore very quickly. :/

- purple spaghetti scarf that mom gave me for Christmas one year. Wore with my vintage fairy costume to Hampshire Halloween with Melissa and to Salem for Halloween with the SSFFS ladies!
