I really like paper dolls. As a child they fed my hunger for fashion as well as my intense happiness at doing something detailed and exacting. I had a big set of Shirley Temple paper dolls, as well as a great 1920s set with four fashion types (vamp, flapper, girl next door, and some generic hot girl) and four men as well ( Read more... )

These are really neat. I never actually considered paper dolls as having the potential to be works of art, because they were always those bothersome things I accidentally ripped up when I tried to dress them. But that octopus lady and the girl with the bear are fantastic.

You could have a whole involved scene on a wall and make adorable .gifs with them.

Omg, that girl with bear would make an ideal birthday present for Lucy, I hope it's still available next pay day!

No worries on that. It's just a print of the original art rather than a unique item, so even if someone buys it the shop owner will put the listing up again. :)
